During our stay in Rio de Janeiro we also saw some of the impoverished neighborhoods of the city's poorest residents. How my travel inspired so many stories.In 1989 my hubby and I spent 3 months travelling Europe. This was my first time to Chamonix France. It wasn't so quaint when we returned 30 years later. I've been to 44 countries, and counting, and I love sharing my first-hand experience in these wonderful places when I write my stories. Hostile Mission - Action packed military romanceStaying at the Ice Hotel in Sweden was always on my bucket list, and I never thought I'd actually get to tick it off. I am so glad we made the mammoth effort to make it happen. It was so worth it!
Every single winter, the pristine waters of the Torne River in Sweden freeze up into solid ice. And back in 1989, the very first Icehotel was hand-sculpted right out of those massive ice blocks carved out of this river. Check out more ice sculptures in my blog.

Anne documented her ordeal and their everyday life hiding in that tiny attic for 5 months. It's impossible to fathom what Anne and her family endured during that terrifying time. In my Alpha Tactical Ops series, part of my story revolves around an large cache of gold bars that the Nazi's made from looted treasure. Whilst my story is fictitious, the theme behind it is unfortunately real.
